The Teatime service which starts at 4.30 every Sunday afternoon is lively modern worship where young and not so young enjoy half an hour of praise, singing, prayer and a talk.
Music is lead by our talented music group, and all are invited to join in the music playing with people bringing their guitars. or trying the musical instruments.
The words and the song words, and bible readings, and material for the talk in the worship are projected on to a large screen with the computer operated by a younger member of the congregation. At the end of the service at 5 pm we stop for tea and cakes, and a chat with our friends, while the children enjoy themselves.
The joy expressed in the teatime service is a reflection of the power of the Holy Spirit working in our parish, and in the time we have been worshiping in this way new people have come to know Jesus, some have been married, some have been baptised and some have gone to live in Glory.
Children from babes in arms to grand parents love the Teatime service and look forward to meeting our Lord there. Recently we have started a short communion after the service once a month.
