O what a glorious mess!

Messy Church arrives in Illogan

Messy Church is sweeping the nation...
and at last it’sarrived here. The formula is
simple the chance to make a mess and be creative, a short act of worship, then food,
glorious food!

We launched our Messy Church on
Valentine’s Day, so there are no prizes for guessing what was being made

The leader of this new churchis Monica
Wilkes well known as the lady who makes messes like none other at our summer

Holiday Clubs. She was ably assisted by
a group of braveparents, all of whom were
seen to be thoroughly enjoying themselves

Messy Church runs on into the Teatime
Service, ourwell tried and much copied
Sunday afternoon worshipfor the whole
family worship that you’re never
too old for.

There are lively songs, led by the amazing
Teatime Band, a Bible talk
(using PowerPoint)and an informal
time of prayer. Then, of course,
it’s teatime!

Monica plans to run Messy Church on
the second Sunday of every month,
beginning at 3.45pm.

The next one will be on Mothers’
Day and we confidently predict
that out of the mess will emerge
something to gladden the heart
of every mum.
