The Noah’s Ark Rainbow Party

Halloween has long been associated with sinister tricks and darkness... but not in this Parish!

On Friday 30th October some 35 bright
young things from all three of our churches descended on the Parish Church for an ‘Alternative Halloween Party’,hosted by
the Detonate Youth Club.

The guests and leaders were dressed in
bright colours to reflect the colours in a rainbowandthe games were all connected
with animals or Noah’s Ark.

After some fast and furious team games
downstairs, the children retreated upstairs
tomake animal and bird masks, and decoratecupcakes as lions, pigs, sheep etc.

Refreshments (provided by parents) were consumed,then volunteers sought for the
'Messy Games' section - bobbing for
apples and doughnuts on a string. Everyone went home extremely wet and sticky aftertwo hours of fun and fellowship!
