All the fun of the Fete
Trevenson Church’s Summer Fete is always an event ‘not to be missed’ and
this year’s was no exception.
Church members turned out in
force to man the stalls and serve
scrumptious burgers, hot dogs
and cream teas.
As well as the usual selection of
bric-a-brac and clothing, there
was a Raffle to be won, Face
Painting for the young and a
Bouncy Castle for the very young.
Canny Trevenson folk know how
to attract a crowd as they hold
their Fete on the same day as
Pool College’s summer event.
Consequently, churchyard and
hall were soon filled with hungry
people and eager bargain hunters.
We raised over £800 for Hall
funds and the new church
windows, and a further £130 for
the Sunday Club, so thank you
everyone who supported us on
what turned out to be a sunny
and fun-filled day.
